Federico D’Attellis (7-string guitar) and Josep López Vasquez (guitar) are two South American musicians who come from the fields of classical and Latin American folk music. These different influences are clearly expressed in the compositions and interpretations of their music.
Both artists become storytellers who are in constant dialog with each other, combining the landscapes and customs of their homelands, their ethnic and cultural diversity with their personal experiences. In doing so, they integrate elements of classical music and jazz, but always with the aim of preserving the musical traditions of the people. In this way, tradition and avant-garde are carefully interwoven.
